My name is Sara Wilson, and I’m raising funds for Zain al-Din Muhammad Ziara, a 9-year-old boy whose life was shattered by violence in Gaza. On October 17th, while Zain was at home with his family, a missile struck their neighbor’s house. In the chaos, Zain and his family fled to the street, but it was there that a quadcopter (drone) targeted him.

Zain sustained severe injuries, resulting in multiple surgeries on his right leg and the amputation of his left leg. For over a year now, Zain and his father, Mohamed, have been living in a field hospital in the south of Gaza. Zain not only carries the physical scars from the attack but also suffers from severe PTSD, waking up in the night, screaming for his mother. Tragically, Zain’s mother and two younger siblings remain in the northern part of Gaza, and Zain misses them deeply.

Since the attack, I’ve been sending funds directly to Mohamed, Zain’s father, to provide for their basic needs—food, blankets, clothes, and a phone to stay connected with their family. Your generous support is the family’s lifeline, as they rely fully on this campaign to survive.

Zain has shown incredible resilience. Despite everything, he’s recently taken up juggling with the help of his teacher Ahmed Instagram (ahmed.circus) and has become a star partaking as the TALENT at childrens events.
